HELPING STUDENTS  TO  IMAGINE THEIR FUTURE 
The ASK Program is a testimony to the visionary leadership of the Schwab Foundation.   

• The ASK program has provided a framework on how to better create goals and expectations on life and how to achieve them.  Our thoughts about College, Career and Life Readiness are very positive! This concept helps us continue to support our Littles.  The ASK program contributes to these youth becoming healthy, self-sufficient, and productive members of their community                                                            
  

                     Big Brothers and Big Sisters Big Futures Program     

• ​We have had many of our members start looking at their future differently.

                               Boys and Girls Club

​We have created academies based on the C3 implementation of past years. Our focus on career pathways and planning has driven the structure and organization of our new building. We can show the number of students involved in activities and presentations. We can also show students who are taking advantage of opportunities provided by our community partners.   ​                                                         Columbia City High School       

•  We are still in the beginning stages, but I think the kids see the value in the program.

• Middle school ASK efforts have made a positive impact on our students' early self awareness and intentional high school course scheduling. The 5 steps of the ASK program are critical for Box 2 Graduation Pathway completion.   SACS students are aware of Dual Credit, Senior Experience, AP opportunities.  They are also more prepared for a post high school Plan A and Plan B.  Our guidance counselors meet annually with every student and utilize the 5 step ASK model.
